Assessments
An assessment is strictly a safety precaution
we take with all new clients. It's a one-time procedure that takes
no more than 10 minutes. The idea is that we can make sure the dog
is nice to people, so staff are not put in harm's way, and also that
we see how the dog reacts with others.
When we are assessing a new dog,
all other dogs are removed from that building and, once inside,
we will introduce one dog at a time to ensure we don't overwhelm
the
newcomer.
We want the dogs to be comfortable, so by pre-assessing
and introduction to a new environment, we can have the new dog
leave on a positive note with moms and dads being able to see all.
There are no closed doors; you can see the assessment
process through half doors, windows or chain-link fencing. Once the
dog has been
assessed, our doors are open to you at all times for doggy daycare,
no prebooking required. For overnight boarding, a call ahead is
a good idea to ensure a spot!
We realize this may pose an inconvenience to some
people. However, safety comes first not only for your dog, but for
our other canine
kids that are present and for our staff.
Our goal is to make your dog's holiday as good
as yours and their work day as tiring as yours. Questions? Call us if you'd like more information -- 905-257-2275.
